Dear Members & Guests,

The inaugural SCCA Diversity Debate will see several senior counsel from our esteemed partners debate the following:

Topic
“Diversity and inclusion initiatives do not promote growth and cannot be a senior management priority for organisations in Singapore.”

The debate is intended to have some inherent learning value for in-house counsel in asking tough questions about diversity and inclusion activities within their own organisations. Despite the heavy subject matter, the debate is meant to be entertaining and humorous thus, each team will be judged based on the content of their argument, humour and wit.

The SCCA will draw lots a week before the event to randomly select the speakers for each side of the house.

Please note this event will take place under the Chatham House Rule:”When a meeting, or part thereof, is held under the Chatham House Rule, participants are free to use the information received, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of the speaker(s), nor that of any other participant, may be revealed.”
