Here’s a chance to board one of the world’s largest aircraft carriers, the USS John C Stennis. Named after former Senator John C Stennis (D-Mississippi), the nuclear-powered vessel is the size of 4 football fields and can carry 70+ aircraft, 6,500 crew and airmen at maximum capacity. This was the ship that launched the final sorties which brought the Iraq War to a close in 2011.
