Dear Member

You are invited to meet Dato Seri Kalimullah Hassan, former editor-in-chief and deputy chairman of the New Straits Times, who recently launched his book The Malaysia That Could Be, which tells the story of one man’s belief in his country – and how it can be so much more than what it is today.

Many of our members will remember Kalimullah as the KL correspondent of The Straits Times in the 1990s. Kali, as he’s known to his friends, now has a Dato Seri to his name. His long career as a journalist also included stints with Time magazine and Reuters.

He will give his insights into the Malaysia of today followed by a Q & A session.

The details of the event are attached:

Light refreshments will be served.

Mr Kalimullah will also be available to sign copies of his book, which can be purchased on that day for $30 (u.p. $37.45).

Due to limited capacity, please register your interest early at https://www.eventbrite.sg/e/meet-author-dato-seri-kalimullah-hassan-tickets-29664908540
