Dear Member,
Join us for a lunch time discussion with Steven Okun, who will host an interactive discussion on the political situation in Washington.
He will review the record of the Trump administration, take a look behind the polls to show why the President’s relatively low ratings are not all they are made out to be, why the Republicans have not yet had major legislative victories despite controlling the Congress and White House, what is in store legislatively for the rest of 2017 and provide an early prognosis for the 2018 mid-term elections.
Steve is the Founder and CEO of APAC Advisors. He served in the administration of President Bill Clinton from 1994-1999, and worked on numerous political campaigns and at national party conventions. He regularly appears on CNBC and Channel NewsAsia to discuss US politics and their intersection with business. He has served as the Chairman of both the American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore and the Asia Pacific Council of American Chambers of Commerce. Steve has lived and worked in Singapore since 2003.
Venue: SPH Auditorium, 1000 Toa Payoh North, Singapore 318994.
Time: Noon to 2pm.
Light lunch will be provided.
