Synopsis

Evolving nature of risk and increase in cyber-related incidents rank as the top threats for companies, according to the 2018 Allianz Risk Barometer.

Given the zero divide between new and traditional media, smartphones have overtaken the print media in most countries as the primary news platform. Facebook increasingly chooses what news we see, and reputations can be built or lost with a Facebook “Like” button.

In this new environment, private and public-sector organisations need to ensure they fully understand the evolving threats and opportunities.
