Singapore Press Club Annual Deepavali Dinner on 16 Nov 2023 (Thursday)

This year, it was held at the Anglo Indian CafĂ© and Bar at Chijmes - a Singapore-based restaurant operating since 2011 and on the Singapore Michelin Bib Gourmand Awards list for 5 consecutive years since 2019, specialising in Indian cuisine.


Members who attended indulged in a free flow of appetizers, main course, sides, dessert and non-alcoholic beverages (soft drinks & juices).

Appetizers: Chicken Malai Tikka, Hara Bhara Kebab, Kurkure Bhindi. Main Courses: Dal Bukhara, Palak Paneer, Butter Chicken, Fish Shashlik, Steamed Basmati Rice and nice hot mixed Bread Basket (various types of naan) ending with Dessert: Rasmalai (One of the most favourite milk-based dessert, cheese patty soaked in flavoured & sweetened saffron milk, garnished with pistachios)
