Welcome to the relaunched website of the Singapore Press Club.
We hope to use this website to update members on the activities of
the Club as well as our membership benefits. With our membership
directory to be made available online soon, we hope members will use
this website to network and engage with their peers and colleagues.
One new feature is the section, “Media Trends”, on developments in
the fast-changing media industry. Our entire industry faces grave
challenges and our fraternity must discuss and debate how best we can
respond to the threats and opportunities. A section, “Benefits”, lists a
wide array of privileges and concessions we have been able to work out
with our associates and industry for members. Please make good use of
them, while we extend the list even further this year.
We must also continue to improve ourselves professionally, even as we
engage newsmakers and maintain our contacts and resources. The Club
hopes, in no small way, to help you achieve all of this through a
widened range of activities and through this website.
I know that we all value our time outside the office, but I am
cheered that more than 500 journalists and media professionals are
members of the Press Club. But we need members to be committed and
devote some time to the activities of the Club. If you have suggestions
on how the Club can serve you better, please do give us your feedback.
