🐨 We’ve just wrapped up our fourth sold out Embassy Night with the Australian High Commission, Singapore hosted by H.E. Allaster Cox and his attentive staff.

Members of the club were treated to some quintessential Australian hors d'oeuvres including their wine and croquettes as we heard from High Commissioner Allaster’s extensive experience in Southeast Asia, including multiple past postings in Indonesia, Vietnam, and Malaysia, and his long-standing interest in the region.

Our very own management committee member Derek Wallbank led the fireside chat for a very stimulating discussion on wide ranging topics from renewable energy, geopolitics and artificial intelligence from Australia’s engagement in the Asean region and beyond with very interesting questions posed by Derek and the audience.

Thank you to all our enthusiastic members and guests who attended. We saw so many new faces who were keen to attend recommended by other members/guests who attended the previous 3 Embassy Nights of the series, and unfortunately due to capacity issues, we were unable to invite more on the waitlist, so guess what - we just might have a surprise in store for 2026 offered by our host!
