SINGAPORE PRESS CLUB EMBASSY NIGHT HOSTED BY THE EU DELEGATION TO SINGAPORE, 18 MAR 2024

Singapore Press Club Embassy Night kicks off its series for 2024 with the first embassy-media roundtable and cocktail night hosted by the European Union Delegation to Singapore on 18 March 2024 evening.

This event is convened by the Singapore Press Club with the aim to bring together journalists and communicators in Singapore with diplomats and senior officials from the host embassy. Modelled after The National Press Club (DC) in Washington Embassy Nights series, President Emily Wilkins sent a message to wish "Singapore Press Club success in its inaugural Embassy Night with the EU and every other event thereafter." SPC thanks Emily and the NPC(DC) for sharing and support.

Held at the EU Residence, the invited attendees from Singapore Press Club enjoyed the networking and fireside chat and Q&A from attendees with Ambassdaor Iwona Piórko, moderated by Derek Wallbank, Managing Editor at Bloomberg News and Management Committee member of Singapore Press Club.

Our Club President,Patrick Daniel and management committee are greatful to our host for their support for a successful and engaging event and we look forward to the next few line ups in the year with other Embassies in Singapore interested to host.
