A Guided Tour To The Deep Roots of Nature & All Its Nature, by the Founder and Global Brand Manager of Casa Elemental, Mauricio Allende.
The philosophy of Casa Elemental shows deep respect for the environment – from the soil, harvesting of the crops and the raw materials used, to the barrels for maturation, the whole process must come from sustainable origins and be completely addictive free. They create and select only the best artisanal recipes from different communities around the world.
All-natural resources obtained are either wild or farmed and should be from a direct or indirect sustainable source. They will not use any limited resources or threaten any ecosystems or animal habitats. The products are cruelty-free, and as so the entire operation, including partnering distilleries, must respect the endemic plants and animals all the time.
Harvesting is done by hand. Carbon footprint is minimized during transportation throughout the process. They have also taken advantage of renewable energy resources such as a hydraulic plant by the river next to the distillery and solar panels by the mezcal fields. Instead of using substitute yeast, wild yeast is fermented and distilled with a mix of modern technology and ancient methods. Ageing of the spirits is natural without using artificial ways to accelerate the process.
It is always in their best interest to look for alternatives to make all parts sustainable of the project. In the absence of alternatives, a new strategy must be put in place immediately. Casa Elemental only collaborate with businesses, projects and people that share their philosophy.
