You are invited to attend the talk: How do we keep it real? Reality check on the ever-changing media landscape – organised by AmCham and the United States Embassy in Singapore.

Journalists and consumers of media around the world face unprecedented challenges these days cutting through misinformation. Through an interactive presentation with photos and videos, ABC news anchor Kendis Gibson will dive into:
– How ABC verifies that the information it reports each day is accurate, and what media consumers can do;
– How journalists struggle with reporting objectively on hate speech and intolerance;
– A discussion of the landscape facing journalists around the world who feel the media is under attack; and
– An overview of ethical reporting
