Seize the rare opportunity to marvel at Vincent van Gogh’s “Starry Night” and “The Card Players” by Paul Cézanne on this special Curator’s Tour. Enjoy works by forerunners of modern art such as Gustave Courbet, Edgar Degas, Jean-François Millet and female Impressionists Berthe Morisot, Marie Bracquemond and Eva Gonzalès.

This exhibition features more than 140 Salon, Realists, Impressionists and Post-Impressionists paintings, photographs and drawings from the mid-19th century to the early 20th century. “Dreams and Reality: Masterpieces of Painting, Drawing and Photography from the Musée d’Orsay, Paris” explores the reaction of man towards modernity. The changing social and industrial landscapes of Paris in early modernity forced artists and photographers to rethink their approach to the visual world.

The tour is free-of-charge. To register, please email: secretariat@pressclub.org.sg by Wednesday 11th January giving your choice of tour (see above for the two time slots) name, membership number, validity of membership and current occupation.
