Time: 7-8.15 pm (Exclusive Guided Curator’s Tour followed by Refreshments)
Place: SAM at 8Q, No. 8 Queen Street
You are invited to an exhibition highlighting groundbreaking Japanese art. Since the mid-1990s, artists from the Land of Cherry Blossoms have established their own creative identities within the context of global pop culture. Working across all mediums, from painting and sculpture to performance, photography and video, the featured artists have responded to the onset of the information age and the greater freedoms and uncertainties of contemporary society.
Trans-Cool TOKYO is co-organised by Singapore Art Museum and the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo. The guided tour is free and your guests are welcome.
